The number of times you have met someone has no bearing on sexual consent, whether it’s the first time or the fiftieth time that you’ve met them. The important thing is that consent has been given freely, willingly and by someone capable of giving consent for themselves.<\/strong><\/p>\n A relationship, date or marriage does not give anyone the right to make choices for another person. Everyone has the right to total control of their body.<\/p>\n Rape and sexual assault within a relationship can look different – it’s hard to understand that someone is taking advantage of your body, and even harder when that’s a person who is supposed to love you.
