New Mindfulness Course Starting Soon…
There is still chance to enrol on our free Mindfulness Course starting in October.
Why practice Mindfulness?
Mindfulness includes elements of meditation and looks at the benefits of staying in the present moment and paying attention to both our thoughts and our feelings. Research indicates that regularly practicing mindfulness, for as little as 20 minutes a day, can make a real difference to our lives and help us to cope better with the stresses and challenges that we face.
Most participants who attended our course in June reported being able to take better care of their emotional wellbeing and felt more positive about the future.
What will it involve?
The sessions will help you to learn about mindfulness and will give you an opportunity to practice some of the techniques in a safe and supportive environment. By the end of the course you will:
- have learnt some of the different ways of being mindful
- have experienced some of the benefits of being mindful
- be able to practice mindfulness in on your own at home
Who is the course for?
This course is designed for people who have already used our services to work through their traumatic experiences. It is intended that the course will help you to continue to support yourself in your journey of recovery following therapy.
