Training

In Nottingham and Nottinghamshire an organisation called Equation is commissioned to provide specialist training on Sexual Violence and Domestic Abuse.  They provide a wide range of training opportunities for people working in many different sectors, including those working with adults as well as relationship and sex education style training for teachers and young people.

Equation develop and deliver the sexual violence and abuse training in partnership with our quality assured and commissioned service Nottinghamshire Sexual Violence Support Services. The training is hosted and facilitated by experts in the field of sexual violence and abuse and covers things like definitions, myths and stereotypes, management of disclosures, and how to refer people into the correct service.
