Family Festival

Planning a festival with kids this summer?

Here are three great tips to help keep them safe:

1. Make sure they know your number and what to do if they get lost:

  • find an adult in uniform or another parent

2. Talk to them about strange behaviour. Teach them the warning signs:

  • adults asking children for help
  • adults asking children to keep secrets
  • adults trying to guide children away

3. Tell them what to do if anything feels strange or unsafe:

  • move away from the person that is making them uncomfortable
  • tell a trusted adult
