Goose Fair

Goose Fair is a great night out.

But we know that dark and crowded spaces can mean there is an increased risk of things happening that are not great.

If you experience catcalling, harassment, groping or worse, remember it is a crime and you can report it.

There will be uniformed officers at the event. There is CCTV in the area and a help point at the Forest Rec tram stop.

If you do endure sexual harassment or assault, remember you are not to blame and support is available.

If you notice someone being harassed or assaulted there are things you can do to help:

  • Distract: Pretend to recognise the person being harassed and chat to them
  • Describe: Make a note of what is happening or record it if you are able to do so safely
  • Report: Tell a uniformed officer
