If someone is slurring or stumbling they may not be able to give consent.

There isn’t a magic number of drinks that makes consent invalid, but if someone is slurring or stumbling then they may not be able to make informed choices.

This includes consenting to sexual activity – you can’t consent to sex on their behalf.

It is also important to remember that alcohol doesn’t excuse the decision to ignore consent.

Boundaries matter for everyone, regardless of how much booze is involved.
