Protecting yourself and others from scams online.

Sextortion is one of the main ways children and young people (especially men and boys) are being scammed online. 

Sextortion is a form of blackmail where you are  

• Tricked into sharing nudes or sexualised photos or videos 
• Forced to pay money to stop the scammer sharing these images 

If this has happened to you 

• Try not to worry 
• Get support  
• Block and report Talk to trusted friends / teachers / family 

Remember it’s not your fault and you haven’t done anything wrong.
